Memorial Day
Parade
At the Memorial day Parade, a lot of people came
to the Guilford Green to march to the cemetery in honor of fallen soldiers.
Our troop marched in four lines with two flag carriers - one for the American
Flag and the other for the Troop 474 flag. We marched from the Green to the
cemetery where there was a short ceremony for the fallen soldiers. There
was jets that flew over us and the a 21 gun salute. Then we marched back to
the Green. There were hundreds of people cheering us on along the way. It was
a relaxed and fun event.
Tips: Look neat - walk in straight lines centered on
the road. Remember, you represent yourself, your troop, and all Boy Scouts
