WEEKEND of JAN 14th -16th

 

 

 

We are leaving from the First Church parking lot PROMPTLY at 4:00, be there. (Otherwise, you are on your own to get to Lake Placid.)

 

 

 

DATES:                    Depart--Guilford.  Thursday Jan 13th 4:00 p.m. Staying at High Peaks Hostel, description attached.  Trek into ADK park Friday A.M.

                                     Return—Lake Placid Sunday Jan 16th 11:00a.m. Breakfast at the________

 

COST:                   Each person must pay $36.19

                                     Food/ Hostel/ Camp fee

 

 

EQUIPMENT:          Large (5000cc backpack), 0 degree bag, pack boots with removable liners,

                                    Winter extreme pack list

                                   

 

GOAL:                        Local excursions on Friday after arrival at huts; Saturday; 5-10 mile snow shoe; Sunday pack up and head home
